New York / Brooklyn
Diane & I just got back from visiting family in Brooklyn. Every time that we go and experience "The City" it causes a paradigm shift to occur in the way we see the world and our photography. This trip I really tried to concentrate on getting some images to be displayed in our new expanded studio space.
The first image of the "Wallet Found" was taken right outside of a flea market looking towards a church in the middle of Brooklyn. Obviously the person that found the wallet is a very resourceful person, first of all they used a "found" scrap of paper to write the notice on then to attach it to the tree, if you look closely, a "bobby pin" to tack it to the tree. Once you get away from the "touristy" parts of New York you will find some of the most honest, nice and helpful people that you will ever find anywhere in the world.
The second image of the "New York Water Taxi" was taken from a pier in the "Red Hook" neighborhood in Brooklyn.
