Kevin & Emily McConnaughey Wedding

Kevin and Emily were married at Assumption Catholic church on June 16th. One of the highlights of the day was the butterfly release! The really fun thing about the butterflys was that they stayed around the guests for quite awhile before taking off to where ever butterflys fly to! They were really fun little creatures!

Snowy Day!

Remember the days of last summer when it was 100+ degrees outside? During July and August we photograph quite a few high school seniors and one thing that comes up frequently is "do you do senior sessions when it snows?" My reply is always "sure"! I even tell them that if they would like a session with some snow images just give the studio a call and we will add a short snow session on to their package; no extra charge. Most of the time say "that's a great idea, I'm going to do that".

When I see it snowing, I think back to those conversations and wait for the phone to ring; it hasn't. You see as much as we would like to see a cold day in July we would also like to see a warm day in January!

So...... I grabbed up one of the cameras and headed out the front door with Gracie and the new kid "Mandy" for some "snow shots". Gracie was OK with the weather for a short period and Mandy (check out the ears) wanted to get back (quickly) to her warm blanket inside!

Bridal Fair 2007

We had a great time today at the Bridal Fair held today at the Ramada Inn downtown. There was a great turnout, but yet not so crowded that didn't have time to visit with people. Diane is in the photo of our booth along with Taren Kirk who was one of our last years brides. Taren showed everyone her beautiful wedding album that we created for her. She was a great help, thanks again Taren!!

We will be at the Ramada Inn downtown again tomorrow (Sunday) all day starting at Noon. Let's hope that the streets are cleared of this snow before then!
